Rabam (Enhanced) skills have been added to Seraph. Specifically, when in Sacramentum, we've improved the lack of Forward Guard skills in PvE and focused on adding skills with Super Armor for PvP. Additionally, while in Purgatum, all Rabam skills will be changed into dash skills to boost mobility.

Update Schedule Changes
While preparing the Olvia Academy and Red Battlefield improvements, originally set to launch in Korea on January 7, we found some areas that needed further refinement. We're currently working to address these issues. As a result, the Olvia Academy update has been postponed to January 21 (Korea). For the Red Battlefield improvements, we'll announce the updated schedule as soon as it's finalized.
We apologize to Adventurers who have been waiting for these updates. We're committed to delivering a more stable and polished experience.
 

 
Guild Boss Improvements
After a long run as the Guild Bosses, Ancient Puturum is stepping down to make way for new bosses: Moghulis and Org. To make it easier for guild members to travel together to the new boss areas, we added them near the previous boss locations.
 
To further enhance the Guild content that supports Adventurers' progression and gameplay, Guild Boss loot will be significantly improved. This improvement was made after extensive discussions, based on feedback Adventurers sent us following the last Black Desert Global Lab update. In light of these loot improvements, we've adjusted how the "War Hero (Mercenary)" system applies to Guild Boss subjugations.
 
Previously, War Heroes could earn disproportionately high rewards by joining multiple guilds for boss subjugations. To address this, War Heroes will no longer be able to participate in Guild Boss Subjugations. Likewise, since Apprentice Guild Members could also move between guilds and take part in subjugations, we've added a rule preventing Apprentice Guild Members from joining Guild Boss Subjugations as well.
 
We understand that guild masters who relied on War Heroes to fill their subjugation teams may worry about having enough members. To help with this, we've lowered the difficulty so subjugations can be completed with fewer participants.
 
We know this may be disappointing for Adventurers who enjoyed participating as War Heroes, but these changes are necessary. Guild Boss subjugations are a core part of guild activities, and these adjustments will allow us to offer more diverse guild events and greater rewards.
 
In addition, we're working on a range of guild improvements, including updates to the Guild window and other quality-of-life features. We appreciate your continued interest and support.
  • Changed all Guild Boss content to now be conducted in the guild-exclusive Expedition Region (instance).
    • You can enter or exit the Expedition Region via the Guild Boss Subjugation tab in the Guild window (G).
    • When a Guild Master or an authorized guild member enters the designated summon location using the Guild Boss UI, a guild-exclusive Expedition Region will be created.
      • Changed the difficulty selection for summoned Guild Bosses to be available after entering the Expedition Region.

Family Fame
The "Family Fame Fund," awarded based on your Combat, Life, and Special Fame, has typically been viewed as a small bonus you can save up and use when needed. However, with changes to content and character progression, its usefulness has gradually diminished.
 
To address this, we've increased the maximum Family Fame Fund payout to over 100 million Silver, allowing you to accumulate even more Silver just by logging in as your Family grows.
 
We've also updated the Family Fame brackets and expanded the maximum achievable Fame, giving Adventurers new milestones to reach as you build your reputation in the world of Black Desert.
  • Adjusted the daily Family Fame Fund payout, increasing the amount you can receive based on your Family Fame.
    • Following the increase to the Family Fame Fund, Adventurers who claimed their Family Fame Fund after the Global Lab update notice posted on Jan 2, 2026 (Fri) at 18:00 (KST) will receive the additional amount based on the updated rate during the Jan 15, 2026 (Thu) maintenance.

MOUNT

Krogdalo's Sanctuary
Krogdalo's Sanctuary has been updated to allow you to store up to five horses at once, including Krogdalo.
Previously, if you had a horse out from the Sanctuary, you couldn't transfer the Sanctuary directly between characters.
With this update, we've added a retrieval feature: if a horse is out when you move the Sanctuary, it will automatically be returned to the Sanctuary.
Thank you to all Adventurers who have been waiting for this update. We'll keep working to make your journey even smoother with ongoing quality-of-life improvements.
  • Improved the sanctuary to allow storing up to five horses, regardless of type.
    • The sanctuary's UI has been changed, enabling quick storage and retrieval of horses using number keys.
 
  • Improved so that you can now use a Maid/Butler/Attendant to move Krogdalo's Sanctuary into your Inventory, even if another character has already taken out a mount from Krogdalo's Sanctuary.
    • To move Krogdalo's Sanctuary, the mount that was taken out must be called first, and the call range is determined by the flute you have.
      • Celestial Horse Calling Horn Call Distance: Unlimited
      • Trainer's Flute Call Distance: 500
      • Default Call Distance: 150
 
e.g., If a horse is taken out 600 away from the location of the "Ranger" who is holding Krogdalo's Sanctuary, then the "Warrior" must have a Celestial Horse Calling Horn to move Krogdalo's Sanctuary via a Maid/Butler/Attendant, since the horse must be called first.
 
With the addition of new feature to Krogdalo's Sanctuary, trade items and treasure items can no longer be stored in a horse's mount inventory to prevent them from being lost.
 
We understand that Adventurers who previously used horses for crate trading may be wondering how to continue with trade content going forward.
 
You can still use wagons, miniature elephants, and donkeys as before. To minimize any inconvenience for those who relied on horses, we've reduced transport costs to one-tenth of their original value and increased the maximum load capacity for transported goods.
  • Changed so that Trade Items and Treasures can no longer be stored in a horse's inventory.
    • Other mounts can still store Trade Items and Treasure as before.
 
  • Adjusted the cost of Trade Wagons for Storage Transport to 1/10 of the previous price, and doubled their weight limit.
    • The "Storage Transport Weight Limit +1,500 LT" benefit from Blessing of Kamasylve remains unchanged.
 
  • Improved so that you can now discard fish of the selected grade or lower even during manual fishing.
    • This works the same as auto-fishing, and items other than fish are obtained regardless of grade.

  • Fixed the issue where a message about Tuvala gear converting to normal gear would appear during forced graduation.
  • Fixed the bottom of the emoji list displaying awkwardly when more than 70 emojis have been obtained.
  • Fixed overlapping UI when clicking the View Details button in the Merv's Palette purchase popup in the Dye window (J).
  • Fixed certain terrain near Ahto Farm where movement was restricted.
  • [Sage] Fixed the issue where wearing the Spotlight Outfit (Iconic) with other outfit's shoes appeared awkward.
  • Changed the skill key guide description in the mount skill list to now use ellipsis when displayed over two lines.
  • Fixed the issue where items with truncated names could not be selected during the item branding process.
