New Class, Maegu, Pre-release Event
After the January 16 Global Labs update, you’ll be able to check out Black Deserts newest class, Maegu.

New Class, Maegu, Pre-release Event
· Event Period : January 16, 2023 (Mon) after the Black Desert Global Labs Update - Until Maegu releases on the Black Desert official servers ·
※ During the period above, all Adventurers who have access to the Black Desert Global Labs will be able to try out Maegu.

What is the Black Desert Global Lab?
- The Black Desert Global Lab is a test server that is used for pre-release and testing of content under development.
- Please remember that content announced on the Black Desert labs may be adjusted and changed before reaching the Live Black Desert servers.

How to join in the pre-release experience

[2] Download and log into the Black Desert Global Labs
[3] Top right of the Client Window▶ Settings Icon ▶ Change Language ▶ Connect to Server
[4] You will be able to check the new class, Maegu, when you access
[5] Please refer to the following information to make the most of your Global Labs experience
- In the Character Creation window, you’ll be able to create the new ‘Maegu’ Class.
- Basic items needed to play ‘Maegu’ will be provided through the Challenge Menu (Y).
- Weight and Inventory items will be given through the Chhallenge Window (Y) after reaching level 3 with Maegu.
- Check the Inventory (I) for the new class outfit that can be worn by Maegu.
- Completing the “[Global Lab Succession] Maegu, Fortified Strength” from the Black Spirit (,) will allow you to use the Succession skills.
- You can purchase a variety of items and equipment from Eiorah, a Black Desert Global Labs exclusive NPC available in various locations.
- Pearl Abyss reserves the right to change or cancel the event depending on mitigating circumstances. If changes are made, they can be found on this event page.
- Participating in the event using inappropriate methods may result in a cancellation/retrieval of your reward(s) and/or restriction from the game.
