From this week, to help our adventurers and their new Novas 

embark on a well-prepared adventurer, 

we've prepared a hot time for item drop rates! 


For 2 weeks, go set out for a new adventure with your Nova-!


EventIncreased Item Drop Rate for 24 Hours!

Event Period 

- January 13, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance - January 27, 2021 (Wed) before maintenance 


Event Details 

- During the event period, wherever you set out to hunt monsters, your Item Drop Rate will increase by 50%

24 Hours Daily during the Event Period! 

Item Drop Rate +50% 

when defeating and looting monsters! 

* This applies to all servers except for the Arsha and Season Arsha servers. 


■ Content affected by Item Drop Rates

You can increase your Item Drop Rate through various means such as  

Black Desert Hot Time events, scrolls, Oasis buffs, learning knowledge effects, etc.  


This Item Drop Rate increase effect applies to all loot acquirable upon defeating a monster, 

yet excludes certain content, and/or cases where 2 or more adventurers defeat one monster, 

and can both loot from it. 


Please refer to the cases below on where the Item Drop Rate effect does/does not apply.

Loot from Elite monsters that have a chance to appear on hunting grounds 

Fadus Habitat -  Fadus Warrior Chief 

Shultz Guard -  Kunga 

Aakman Temple - Aakman Darkness Condenser 

Hystria Ruins - Hystria Alerted Watch Tower 

Thornwood Forest -  Dark Knight 

Tunkuta - Ulutuka 

Star’s End - Apostle of Malevolence 

Abandoned Monastery (Restricted Territory) - Specter of Belmorn 

Padix Island - Mutant Loah Snake 

Kratuga Ancient Ruins -  Laytenn 

Gyfin Rhasia Temple -  Butcher of Gyfin Rhasia 

Blood Wolf Settlement - Kagtum Guard

Loot obtainable from Gathering a defeated monster 

* Such loot is also affected by Life Mastery buff effects. 

Loot from  Afuaru,  Poacher who appear on hunting grounds 

Loot obtained from chance-driven boxes and bundles 

Please note that the above is suspect to change, 

depending on the addition of/changes to in-game content.

- If you login before the start or end of this Hot Time event, the Hot Time UI will reflect the buff at the time of your login. The actual Hot Time that is applied will be according to the details on this event page, and you can check the applied Hot Time by re-logging into the game.

- There may be restrictions on trading/selling event items, and they may have usage expiration dates and different binding settings. These items cannot be transferred or restored due to this reason.  

- Please refer to the in-game item description for details on whether the item is bound. Items that were sent or used as intended cannot be recovered or restored.      

- Participating in the event using inappropriate methods will result in a cancellation/retrieval of your reward and restriction from the game.
