Introduction

Church Buffs are buffs you can obtain from priests or certain other NPCs in BDO. There are 3 different versions of the church buff, and they are considered mandatory for both PVP and PVE.

You can have all 3 versions of the Church buff at the same time
Church buffs cost silver or Sangpyeong Coins to obtain
Church buffs do not disappear if you die
Church buffs stack with other combat buffs but do not stack with certain other buffs you can obtain from NPCs

Church Buff Options

There are 3 different versions of the church buff:

Attack: All AP +8, All Accuracy +8
Protection: All Damage Reduction +8, Max HP +150
Experience: Combat EXP +15%, Skill EXP+15%

The duration of the buff determines the cost:

120 min (2 hours) costs 3 million silver OR Sangpyeong Coin x25
300 min (5 hours) costs 10 million silver OR Sangpyeong Coin x80

Simply go to the NPC location and use the “Chat” option to select and purchase the Church Buffs using silver from your inventory.

You can purchase all 3 buffs at once and they will stack.

Purchasing using Sangpyeong Coins (LOML)

In the Land of the Morning Light region, you can purchase Church buffs with silver OR Sangpyeong Coins.

The name of the buff is slightly different and called “Special Revitalizing Gukbap”, but still offers the same buffs for Attack/Protection/Experience. The only difference is that you have the option to pay using your Sangpyeon Coins instead.

Sangpyeong Coins are obtained from the main story quest in Land of the Morning Light, from the Black Shrine Boss reward bundles, or by completing repeatable daily quests.
