Black Desert offers outfits and costumes that changes the appearance of your equipment.

You can see that the equipment slots and the outfit slots are separate. When you equip an outfit, only the outfit will be visible.  

You can buy most of these outfits from the Pearl Shop, but there is a way to change specially crafted costumes into outfits.

There are various kinds of crafted costumes in Black Desert. 

If you purchase an ‘Equipment Tailoring Coupon’ from the Pearl Shop, you can change the crafted costume into and outfit

▲ Like all crafted equipment, a crafted costume can only be equipped in equipment slots.

▲ When you use the Equipment Tailoring Coupon, the crafted costume becomes an outfit.

The outfit made using the coupon keeps the original item effects the crafted costume had. In addition, the outfit gains a new item effect.
