Roud Sulfur Mine is in the Gavinya Volcano northeast of Valencia.
It is the only place where you can mine 99% pure sulfur ores.
However, there always is the danger of a sudden explosion caused by toxic gas in the air.

Monster Types and Level
1) Basic Monster Information
We will briefly go over the monster level and the type of monsters you will encounter in Roud Sulfur Mine.
Monster level: Mostly lvl 57~60
Melee: Lava Searcher, Lava Fafalun, Lava Devourer, Lava Tukar, Lava Taolun
Melee and Ranged: Lava Faolun
Ranged: Lava Phlogiston Condenser, Lava Hydraulic Nozzle
Other: Lava Sulfur Bundle
2) Features
- It is located north of the Valencia capital and is easy to find.
- Even though it is a desert area, you won’t get desert illness.
- There are plenty of monsters in and around the mine.
Level/Equipment Requirements
If we were to categorize the hunting zone of Valencia to level 1/2/3, Roud Sulfur Mine would be a level 2.
It is a little easier than Pila Kun Jail, which is also a level 2.
However, if you are under equipped, you won’t be able to get the most out this area.

Strategy
1) Things to Look Out For
The hunting zone can become quite chaotic, so it’s a good idea to bring a lot of HP potions.
The monsters are usually grouped together around the Lava Phlogiston Condenser and Lava Hydraulic Nozzle.
Be careful of those two, because if the condenser explodes after the nozzle shoots toxic gas, the explosion caused can apply a debuff.
Also, the Fafalun, Devourer, and Tukar all have knock back, knock down, and damage over time skills.
None of this would be a problem if you are above the recommended requirements. However, if you are new to this area, try to remember these points.
2) Hunting Spots and Route
If you are on your own, you can choose to hunt around or inside the mine. However, for parties, it is definitely better to go inside to cover a larger area.

Roud Sulfur Mine, along with Pila Ku Jail, is a popular hunting zone for solo/party hunters that are level 58 or higher.
There has been rumors that the Roud Sulf Mine gives good EXP when hunting a party. Also, many classes enjoy hunting here and couldn’t ask for more.
There are plenty of good drops like, Sicil’s Necklace, Map of Unknown Piece, Part of Explorer’s Compass, and others.
You can also do a daily quest here by collecting ‘Bluish Sulfur’ and exchanging it for 3 million silver.
You can use Duodora’s Villa if you plan on grinding here for skill points.
