Interface

Let me introduce the interface of Black Desert.

We provide various info through Black Desert’s interface.

Interface

▲ Basic interface screen

In the Black Desert you can see all the information on one screen.

If you want to view the information in simplified version, you can turn off unnecessary information or move the position of the window with the UI Edit menu.

▲ From the menu, click Edit UI to start interface edit mode

In the interface edit mode, you can modify the display of some UI windows to be turned on or off.

You can set up your customized interface with various functions such as initializing settings and recalling presets.

The interface window that is set to the visible state appears white in edit mode.

The interface window that is set to be invisible is displayed in transparent black.

If you check "Show Grid" in edit mode menu, grid lines will be displayed on the whole edit screen, so you can create your own interface environment more sophisticatedly.

Auto-align Slot. This feature helps you to place 20 separate Quick Slots more conveniently.

If you move a quick slot near the quick slot you already arranged, the quick slot will be placed at the same interval as the adjacent slot.

When saving the set interface, you can save it in the preset so that it can be recalled later.

If you want to reapply the settings stored in the preset, you must first reset the interface then proceed with the preset load

To save the interface settings for one time use only without saving them to the preset, click on the General Settings.

Social Action (emotional expression)

Social Action (emotional expression)

You can run a variety of social actions within the game.

In addition to commands such as '/ laugh, / pray, / thanks', you can also set up additional keywords to take advantage of active character gestures during the normal chat.

If you save the social action command using the macro function, you can enjoy a lively character in camera mode (screen shot mode).

You can perform a variety of emotes through the emote window. To see emotes in game hit Enter then click the S button.  To check out the macro system hit enter and click the M button.

▲ Can Edit social action commands and keywords.

▲ You can even put Emotes in your chat macros through the macro menu. In that way,  you can use the social actions while in camera mode.

Camera Mode(Screenshot mode)

Camera mode allows you to take screenshots, without seeing your UI elements. You can activate camera mode by hitting Ctrl + U. The same command can also be used to disable it.

Be careful that the settings are reset when you turn off the camera mode

Crop Mode

Crop mode will allow you to cover a portion of the screen.

You can find these setting in Options -> Display Settings.

▲ Cropped the top and bottom of the screen through 'Crop Mode'

Sticker UI

The Sticker UI is a feature that allows you to move in-game windows outside of the game so that you make better use of your screen. You can use this feature with some in-game windows.

This feature allows you to move windows freely outside the game window.

It is very easy to use. Click on the Sticker UI button in the top right corner of the window to enable it. The moment you click on it, the window disappears in the game and an exact copy of it appears in its place. The window is at the very front of the screen and you can move it freely outside of the game.

▲ Sticker UI Disabled/Enabled.

You can move the window by left clicking on its title bar and dragging it.

Like we mentioned before, it is possible to move these windows outside the game.

The Sticker UI window will be visible as long the game is not minimized or closed. It will darken if you open another window in-game which would normally not allow you to use it.

e.g. You have the ‘Quest’ (hotkey ‘O’) window open using the Sticker UI. When you open the World Map in-game, the Quest window will darken, and you won’t be able to do anything to it.

This is normal so don’t worry when this happens.

However, you cannot use all the features on the window while using the Sticker UI.

To close a Sticker UI window, you can either click on the Sticker UI button to return it to the game, or you can click on the ‘X’ button.

Additionally, they will automatically close if you change servers or revive.

▲ You can move the Sticker UI window outside the game.

Here are the windows with the Sticker UI feature:

Inventory, Equipment, Marketplace, Manage Workers, Trade Info, Quests

We will make this feature available on more windows in the future.

▲ You can use this feature to keep an eye on the Marketplace and look through some Black Desert Fanart at the same time.
